You know, Family, I think maybe we all think we are in possession of Bob's masterpiece in some form or another, but this piece I came across in the basement today may well be THE pièce de résistance.
From the honored recipient of this piece, presented on Christmas Day, 1970:
As we all know, Bob was larger than life. But only once did he make me larger than life. Some of you have births, trips, retirements, and childhood home recreations to mark your life chapters. But my award as outstanding offensive lineman for the Grinnell Pioneers was noted on a particularly grand scale. So grand no wall could hold it until Jill moved into a condo loft. The cherubs truly partied and Bob captured it in his own Kodak® moment way.
